Leicester Public Library

1136 Main Street, Leicester, MA

Leicester Public Library, Leicester MA is another of Raymond James Restoration’s recently completed library projects. The Library was taking on a substantial amount of water on the east elevation, damaging the interior stucco walls. After completing a water test to determine where the water was penetrating the structure, we removed two feet of slate on the roof from the parapet wall and installed a new rubber membrane, copper flashing and relayed new slate. We then cut out and repointed any cracked or deteriorated mortar joints and waterproofed the entire elevation.

Subsequently, the interior stucco walls that were damaged were then repaired and finished to match the surrounding texture.
